Retrofit Designer

Job Description TSA Surveying is working in partnership with a leading consultancy at the forefront of the UKs decarbonisation and retrofit programmes. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Retrofit Designer to join their expanding team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful social housing projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance residents quality of life. Key Responsibilities:Develop retrofit design solutions in line with PAS2035:2023Interpret Retrofit Assessments, Condition Reports and IOEsProduce detailed technical specifications and design documentationDevelop ventilation strategies (Approved Document F compliant)Undertake U-value calculations, thermal bridging analysis and condensation risk assessmentsIdentify building risks, constraints and propose mitigation solutionsSupport the Whole House Retrofit approachAbout You:Fully qualified Architect MCIAT or ARB accredited (essential)Experience in domestic retrofit projectsStrong knowledge of insulation, ventilation, moisture management and fabric-first principlesGood working knowledge of Revit/CAD and Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of PAS2035 and retrofit compliance requirementsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsSite travel as requiredBristol (Hybrid 2/3 Days Office Based) If you are a qualified Retrofit Designer looking to join a forward-thinking consultancy delivering impactful retrofit programmes across the UK, please apply online.JBRP1_UKTJ
