Job Description Risk Manager Project ControlsSalary: Circa 50,00070,000 depending on experienceLocation: South West England or the London areaHybrid: 3 days a week on-site (either office or client site)We are supporting a client in the defence sector with the recruitment of a Risk Manager Project Controls. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple UK locations on high-profile projects within a collaborative and experienced project controls team.Role OverviewThe Risk Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining risk management processes across various infrastructure projects and programmes.The role involves maintaining risk registers, facilitating risk workshops, producing timely risk reports, challenging risk information for accuracy and robustness, and ensuring alignment with other project controls disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement risk management processes and promote best practices within project teamsGuide project teams and support performance management decision-makingProduce risk reports to communicate project risk positions effectivelyAlign risk information with scheduling, cost control, and change control disciplinesRequirementsExperience in managing risk in a project or programme environment across infrastructure projects, such as water, aviation, transportation, etc.Understanding of project controls interactions with risk managementFamiliarity with at least one risk standard (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA) desirableRelevant qualification such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or MoR PractitionerFamiliarity with at least one risk tool (ARM, Predict!
