Job DescriptionExpenses Clerk required for a 3 month temp role Your new companyEast Bristol based businessYour new roleIf youre organised, detaildriven and enjoy supporting colleagues across a busy finance function, this role offers the chance to join a collaborative finance team with real scopeAs the Expenses Administrator, youll play a key role in ensuring employee expenses and corporate credit card submissions are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with policy. Working within a supportive finance team, youll be responsible for reviewing, posting and chasing expense claims across multiple European entities, helping colleagues stay compliant while keeping processes running smoothly.Youll work closely with internal teams, credit card providers and tax authorities, becoming a trusted point of contact for all things travel and expenses.What Youll Be DoingDailyReview and qualitycheck employee expense claims to ensure compliance with policySupport colleagues with queries and provide training where neededReconcile corporate credit card submissions and ensure receipts are providedProcess cash expenses ahead of payment deadlinesMonitor shared mailboxes and respond within agreed SLAsEnsure successful import of expense data into the finance system and resolve upload errorsWeeklyCollate information for reportingProcess purchasing card expenses and issue remindersFile receipts and paper claim formsReview vendor accounts to clear down credit card expensesMonthlyPrepare and submit corporate credit card payments to the general ledger teamCollate and submit monthly cost and accrual journalsReport overdue or nonsubmitted expenses to managers and approversAnnualSupport PSA submissionsAssist HR with P11D data reviewsPrepare documentation for VAT audits across multiple countriesAdhocAdminister purchasing and corporate cardsMaintain accurate employee records for starters, movers and leaversWhat you''ll need to succeedExperience working in financeStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skills and a customerfocused approachStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAnalytical mindset with great attention to detailWhat you''ll get in returnFlexible working options available after learning the role for a month in the office.
