Combat Systems Engineer

Job Description Our client, a dynamic and high profile organisation, urgently require an experienced Combat Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:Experience in Submarine Combat Systems EngineeringPractical experience working with submarine combat system elements such as sonar, C2, combat management or weapon systemsExperience delivering or supporting changes to operational submarine combat systemsStrong systems engineering background, including requirements, integration and verificationSC Cleared as a minimum (happy to undergo DV) Within this role, you will be responsible for:Engineer, integrate and assure submarine combat system elements, including: Sonar and sensor systemsCommand, control and tactical data processingWeapon control and combat management functionsOperator interfaces and display systemsContribute to systemofsystems design across platforms, training systems and shore-based facilitiesEnsure solutions meet submarinespecific constraints such as safety, stealth, survivability and availabilitySupport incremental and spiral delivery of combat system capability, reducing reliance on large monolithic upgradesContribute to rapid capability insertion, trials and operational experimentationBalance innovation with regulatory, safety and security constraints inherent in submarine environmentsThis represents an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role within a growing organisation.
