Fire Stopper

Job Description We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fire Stopper to join their team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on a range of commercial and residential projects, ensuring all fire protection systems are installed to the highest safety and compliance standards.Typical working hours are 07:0015:00, though these may vary depending on the site.Key Responsibilities:Install fire-stopping materials such as fire-rated seals, boards & coatings to walls, floors, and service penetrations.Inspect and assess fire-stopping systems to ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and fire safety standards.Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fire safety reports.Perform remedial works to rectify non-compliant fire-stopping installations.Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic evidence and compliance documentation using our reporting system.Work with other technicians to ensure project delivery and customer sign offs.Adhere to all health 'safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE and risk assessments.Provide recommendations for improvements to fire-stopping systems as required.Attend training and development programs to stay updated with the latest fire-stopping technologies and regulations as well as delivering on-site and in-house training to technicians.Requirements:At least 2 years' experience in fire stoppingKnowledge of fire safety regulations and industry standardsExperience in fire-stopping installation and/or passive fire protection.Experience with batt, mastic, fire barriers & compound.NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire ProtectionExperienced using fire-stopping products from manufacturers such as but not limited to Rockwool, QuelFire & Firefly.Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship and ability to follow technical specifications and details.Working at heights and in confined spaces trained.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK driving licenceDBS security clearanceWhat's on Offer:Competitive salaryCompany van and mobile phoneOngoing training and career developmentSupportive team environmentIf you are a dedicated Fire Stopper looking for your next opportunity in Bristol, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
