Our consultants are smart, well-paid, and supported. We're not a churn-and-burn agency.Why this role existsThe owner currently absorbs every operational fire IT, email, vendors, payroll, commissions, hiring logistics, reporting, systems. That's no longer scalable.This role exists to take ownership of operations so the leadership team can focus on what they do best: client relationships, billing, and strategic growth. It's a genuine number-two seat with real ownership, not a pure admin role.What you'll ownPeople & hiringDay-to-day people management for the consultant teamOnboarding new hires through to productivityKPI tracking, weekly 1:1s, performance managementSourcing and first-stage interviewing for new hiresSystems & vendorsBullhorn (CRM), LinkedIn Recruiter, RingCentralEmail infrastructureIT support relationshipVendor management, contracts, renewalsFinance & commercial adminCommission calculations and verificationPayroll liaison with our accountantMonthly KPI dashboard and reporting to the ownerCompliance, contracts, terms of businessOffice & operationsSmooth running of the day-to-dayNew initiatives (US office setup is on the horizon this role helps deliver it)Who you are5+ years experience in recruitment operations, agency management, or a number-two role at a similar-size firmComfortable with Bullhorn or a comparable CRM, and confident across the recruitment tools stackDetail-oriented commissions, payroll, and KPIs need to be right, every timeComfortable managing people without egoStrong systems-thinker who can spot what's broken and fix itDiscreet, dependable, low-dramaYou're not an ex-biller wanting to get back into billing.
