Senior Stylist

Job Description Eden is a small friendly boutique style salon within a health club in Long Ashton. I am looking for a second stylist to take on a column of clients, you will need to be confident in colouring as this is the majority of our wheelhouse., skills in cutting and styling a wide variety of styles to a high standard is also essential. The salon sees a lot of passing trade with club members alongside an already large client base. I'm looking for someone to take on some of that client base as well as growing your own. As a salon we are focussed on confidence boosting hair for our guests, in a bright newly refurbished space where they can come and relax. We use L’Oréal colour and products alongside K18, Only Curls, GHD and color wow products. I require level 3 qualifications and proficiency in cutting and colouring. Due to the nature of the salon being inside another building we do not provide any perming or chemical straightening services. Ideally a minimum of 4 years salon experience or more (after qualifying). Good colour knowledge will ne necessary for correction services, as well as advanced colouring such as balayage and blonding services. You will also be expected to help with the day to day cleaning and running of the salon. This position has no definite start date and can be negotiated after a trial day has been completed, hours will be negotiable but starting at 16-24 with a view to increase as your column grows. I am generally flexible with hours to suit a stylists needs provided our busy times are covered. As a small team this can mean you're looking after the shop when the other stylist takes annual leave.
