Global Asset Safety Lead – Safety Physician London | Hybrid | Global PharmaAn exciting opportunity to shape and lead global safety strategy for a portfolio of innovative medicines, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance across all stages of development and commercialisation.In this role, you will:Take full accountability for safety surveillance, signal detection, and proactive risk management for assigned products.Provide expert medical input into benefit–risk assessments, clinical development programmes, and life-cycle management.Lead the development and maintenance of Risk Management Plans and safety components of regulatory submissions.Respond to safety-related questions from health authorities and external stakeholders.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in R&D, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs, and represent the organisation at internal and external forums.Support decision-making with data-driven safety insights and contribute to due diligence activities when needed.What we’re looking for:Medical degree (MD) with proven clinical judgement.Industry experience in pharmacovigilance and/or clinical development; oncology or immuno-oncology expertise is advantageous.Solid knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation, benefit–risk frameworks, and regulatory processes.Demonstrated ability to influence across global teams and work effectively in a matrix environment.Fluent in English with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.This is a high-profile, strategic role with global scope — ideal for a physician who combines scientific expertise with a passion for patient safety and operational excellence.
