Purchasing Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our Sourcing & Procurement team. You’ll play a key role in shaping category strategies, driving cost savings and delivering value across the business.What you’ll do as a Purchasing Specialist:Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies.Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and demand.Lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting activity.Drive savings through demand aggregation, standardisation, and reducing tail spend.Bring market insights, innovation, and best practice into actionable plans.What we’re looking for in a Purchasing Specialist:Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – confident presenting and building relationships.Experience leading multiple large-scale projects.(Desirable) CIPS qualification or knowledge of the Public Procurement Act.Proactive, commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Why apply ?You’ll work closely with senior leadership and business leads, playing a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategies that deliver real impact.
