Job Description – Concession ManagerLocation: Manchester Exchange, SelfridgesContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeReports To: Retail Manager, UKOverviewOur client, a leading global luxury brand, is seeking a Concession Manager to oversee their concession within Selfridges Manchester Exchange. This role is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team in one of the UK’s most iconic retail environments. You will take full ownership of daily operations, drive commercial performance, champion exceptional service, and uphold the brand’s world-renowned standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Commercial DevelopmentDrive performance across all product categories, contributing directly to store KPIs and targets.Implement strategic action plans to grow the customer base and enhance brand visibility.Identify and act on commercial opportunities to maximise profitability.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and motivate the team to deliver results and embody brand values.Manage recruitment and onboarding in partnership with HR and senior retail leaders.Foster a culture of accountability, development, and luxury service excellence.Provide ongoing training on product knowledge and selling techniques.Client ExperienceEnsure a consistent and elevated experience for every customer, aligned with luxury standards.Use CRM tools to maintain and grow relationships with high-value clients.Handle feedback with professionalism, ensuring swift resolution of issues.Operations & ComplianceOversee daily operations including scheduling, reporting, stock management, and compliance.Uphold operational standards and Selfridges’ guidelines at all times.Support accurate inventory control and logistics coordination.Ensure visual merchandising reflects brand campaigns and seasonal direction.Communication & ReportingProvide timely updates to retail leadership on team performance, KPIs, and commercial insights.Maintain strong communication with both internal departments and Selfridges stakeholders.Cascade brand messages, company updates, and priorities to the team.Profile & RequirementsExperience & BackgroundMinimum of 2–3 years’ experience in retail leadership, ideally in luxury fashion, beauty, or lifestyle.Strong commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding targets and driving team performance.Skilled in managing teams in a high-profile or fast-paced environment.Comfortable using POS systems, stock tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Key AttributesA confident, hands-on leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Passionate about the luxury retail industry and exceptional customer service.Detail-oriented, highly organised, and operationally strong.Adaptable, proactive, and capable of thriving under pressure.Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.Success in This Role Means:Regularly exceeding sales and service KPIs.A high-performing, motivated, and stable team.Strong customer satisfaction and loyalty.Flawless operations and an outstanding brand presentation in-store.Our Client's ValuesOur client is known for their authenticity, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
