Senior Quantity SurveyorRate: £450 per day (Outside IR35)Location: Remote (travel to sites 1-2x a month)We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing main contractor that provides sustainable heating and cooling through district heating schemes to clients across the UK. The role is offered on a remote basis, outside IR35 and for an initial period of around 6 months.The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working with the Commercial Manager and overseeing the commercial management of a number of projects for both commercial and residential clients across the UK.Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyors key duties will include:Cost management & budget controlSubcontract procurement and management including leading the procurement process for subcontractors, assessing applications for payment, variations and final accounts.Prepare and submit interim valuations to the clientSecure timely and accurate payments, managing cash flow on each projectIdentify, asses and manage variations and changesAdminister the main contract ensuring compliance with terms (JCT/NEC)Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need an understanding of civil engineering, or specifically, district heating works and be happy to travel to sites across the UK 1-2 times a month (all expenses paid).To find out more, get in touch with Matt Clegg at Gold Group on 01342 330 539.Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.We will contact you within the next 14 days if you are selected for interview.
