You’ll play a vital role in ensuring environmental excellence from pre-construction through to project completion.Why the Environmental Advisor position is something you should apply for:You’ll work for a well-established, values-led contractor known for investing in people, quality, and sustainability.You’ll have real influence on how projects are delivered, ensuring they meet – and exceed – environmental standards.You’ll enjoy a varied role working with a wide range of internal teams, clients, and statutory regulators.The successful Environmental Advisor Advisor will:Provide expert environmental guidance throughout all phases of project delivery.Develop environmental plans and reports in line with company policies and ISO 14001.Monitor performance, collect and interpret environmental data, and support reporting.Conduct inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and permits.Support incident investigation and lead the implementation of corrective actions.Engage with operational teams to promote best practices and drive continual improvement.Contribute to innovation in sustainability, identifying new opportunities to reduce environmental impact.What we’re looking for:Strong experience in an environmental or sustainability role within civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure.Excellent working knowledge of environmental legislation and its practical application on site.Proven ability to manage risks, develop environmental documentation, and interpret performance data.A degree in Environmental Science or equivalent qualification/experience.Experience with consents and permitting processes.Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Travel required - Covering Aylesbury to Hatfield / West London and in future covering sites in the South.Full UK driving licence (field-based role).In return, you’ll receive:£40,000–£46,000Car or Car allowance £400 per monthPension, healthcare, and 24–26 days holidayEmployee perks including discounts with major retailers, cycle-to-work scheme, and EAPA collaborative and inclusive work culture focused on making life better for growing communitiesIf you're ready to bring your expertise to meaningful civil engineering projects and help shape a more sustainable future - apply today.
