About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Dispensary Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our online pharmacy dispensary. You don’t need to come from a pharmacy background — we welcome candidates with experience in logistics, manufacturing, healthcare administration, compliance, or other regulated environments who are confident managing teams, processes, and operational standards.This is a hands-on leadership role where your attention to detail, process improvement mindset, and ability to manage people and systems will be key to ensuring safe and efficient service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations ManagementLead and coordinate daily operations within the dispensary, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Oversee the handling and processing of orders, stock, and documentation.Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations (training provided).Support the implementation of new processes to improve workflow and scalability.Team LeadershipSupervise and support a multidisciplinary team including technicians and assistants.Manage rotas, leave schedules, performance reviews, and team development.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Compliance & Quality AssuranceMaintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and record-keeping.Conduct regular audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure all documentation and procedures meet inspection and audit standards.Stock & Inventory ControlManage stock rotation, storage, and expiry tracking.Ensure safe handling and storage of products in line with regulatory guidelines.Minimise waste and ensure availability of essential items.Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with pharmacists, customer service, couriers, and other internal teams.Act as a point of escalation for operational queries and issues.Contribute to cross-functional projects and service improvements.Health & SafetyPromote and maintain a safe working environment.Lead investigations into incidents and ensure appropriate reporting and follow-up.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and risk assessments.What We’re Looking ForEssential Skills & ExperienceExperience managing operations in a regulated or process-driven environment (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, food production).Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organisational and time management abilities.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Comfortable working with digital systems and workflows.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Desirable AttributesExperience in stock control, compliance, or quality assurance.Familiarity with SOPs and process documentation.Understanding of health and safety practices.Interest in healthcare, wellbeing, or digital services.Additional InformationFull training provided on pharmacy-specific regulations and systems.Enhanced DBS check will be required.Continued professional development is supported.Some weekend work may be required as part of a 7-day operation.Looking to apply your operational leadership skills in a growing healthcare business?
