Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing operational strategies that drive the firm’s success. You will ensure the business operates efficiently, principally overseeing key business functions including Client Services (i.e. Paraplanning & Administration), Compliance, HR, Finance, Technology and Business Change. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyOperations, Finance, Compliance and HR teamsResponsible for creating and embedding a strong client-service cultureOverall responsibility for implementing Target Operating ModelDevelop and operational strategies and drive continuous improvementClient Services & Operations Implement processes and technologies to enhance the client experienceDevelop strong a customer-centric and continuous improvement cultureFinance & Regulatory OversightWork closely with the Finance team and CEO in managing the firm’s financial healthWork closely with Compliance team to manage regulatory risks, audits and ensure timely submissions to the FCAOversee the hub’s compliance with FCA regulations, ensuring all activities, processes and reporting meet required standardsPeopleOversee HR function Retain key talentTechnology & Business Change.Overall change management responsibilityOversee the implementation of key financial planning tools, CRM systems and other technologies Skills and Experience DesiredLeadership & StrategyProven experience in a senior operational role within an FCA-regulated financial services firm Experience of contributing to the creation and implementation of business strategy and associated activitiesStrong leadership and management experience Strategic thinker with hands-on approach to problem solvingClient Services & OperationsExpertise in operational strategy, process improvement and financial managementExperience with firm acquisitions and integration processes Strong customer/client services backgroundFinance & Regulatory OversightStrong knowledge of FCA regulations, compliance standards and risk management practicesPeopleAbility to set and maintain a positive workplace climate of support and achievement for our people, that reflects our values, behaviours and cultureThe ability to contribute to the development of the firm’s policies and proceduresTechnology & Business ChangeExperienced ‘change leader’The ability to encourage new ways of doing things and lead changePreviously worked with financial planning tools, including CRM/back-office systems and cash flow planning tools
