[NOTE: Linkedin doesn't have 'anywhere in Europe' as an option, but that's the location setting. You can be located anywhere within the EU timezone, NOT just the UK!]If you love digital and tech startups, scaleups and the high pace, high energy environment that comes with it, yet you can make sense of priorities, remain calm and efficient in the midst of deadlines and changing priorities, this is for you. The job? Build and run the operations of Europe’s leading funding system.About us.Fundraising Bootcamp is the UK and the EU’s top performing funding systems. We’re sector agnostic, pan-European, and help the entire ecosystem (CEOs, investors, VCs, Gov funds, accelerators and more). We are a team of entrepreneurs, co-founded by Francois Mazoudier (linkedin) and Marcela Donatello (linkedin). More information on our website and Linkedin. We’re a fast-moving startup with big ambitions. There’s plenty to do, but we make room for laughs, learning, and a good GIF or two along the way. Now we are looking for a high energy, high integrity addition to our team; somebody who shares our values of autonomy, trust, organisation, and somebody who takes ownership. If you're looking for a role that requires structure with creative spontaneity, and where your work actually shapes a business, we'd love to meet you.Your role. You will build and run Ops, generally running a tight ship. You will help us keep processes and systems running smoothly while supporting our CEO with daily operations and some key projects. This is a critical role for the company to scale efficiently, so you will work directly with the CEO and the team.As most things here the role will evolve, morph and grow as you do. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, loves the experience of building a scaleup, and knows how to get stuff done without being micromanaged. If you prefer a job with ‘strategy', 'big picture thinking’ and ‘circling back' in the description, this is not the role for you. You stay calm under pressure, switch contexts quickly, and still laugh at a good meme. You prioritise well, call out bullshit and if something feels like a waste of time you say so.Common sense. You must be able to think on your feet, in real time, look for solutions that aren’t written anywhere. From getting somewhere where all flights are full, to getting somebody who’s ghosting you to pick up, arranging a special delivery, hire a specialist on Fiverrr, etc.Perfect command of English, spoken and written. You will have that friendly but firm tone of voice and manage to convince others charmingly.Resourcefulness. You make the most of what is available. You figure stuff out.
