They have extensive knowledge and experience in products and claims assessment, mostly consisting of Senior Claims Assessors. The focus is on providing the best claims experience through innovative improvements, delivering on promises, and excellent service. Opportunity The Claims Assessor will manage claims proactively, ensuring customer reassurance through service excellence and accuracy. This role involves developing strong relationships with internal and external customers, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include claims assessment, decision-making, and call handling, collaborating closely with various teams in a respectful environment. Key Responsibilities Fast Track claims assessment: decision-making, customer communication, quality standards, and triage of claims not meeting criteria. Assess non-fast track claims as directed, ensuring quality and timeliness. Med Fee Authorisation: checking and quality checking med fee payments. Telephone Call Handling: managing incoming calls professionally, complying with Data Protection, and maintaining records. Required Qualifications Claims/legal/fraud administration experience, with ability to handle claims involving hospitalization, injuries, and funeral benefits. Ability to review detailed medical and police reports, demonstrating resilience. Professional demeanor with good communication skills, including telephone and letter writing. Willingness to work from Brighton HQ one day a month after initial training, with a commitment to in-office presence for about a month. Additional Skills Medical or claims background for technical claims, experience with claim autonomies advantageous but not essential.
