Job Title: Hostel Support Worker Location: Brighton Contract: Zero Hours Shifts: Monday to Sunday (ad hoc shifts) About the Role We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team as a Hostel Support Worker. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents while supporting the aims and values of the project. Key Responsibilities Ensure residents comply with the agreed conditions of the premises. Patrol and monitor all areas regularly, ensuring safety and security procedures are followed. Challenge and address behaviour that conflicts with the hostel's aims, including handling complaints appropriately. Maintain accurate records of events and incidents. Carry out cleaning duties, including washing and drying bed linen. Complete administrative tasks (manual and computerised), such as filing, photocopying, and processing invoices for manager approval. Provide personal care when required. What We're Looking For Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
