Job Description Were Growing Our Sales Team Account Executive & Senior Account Executive Roles | Diversified UK & Europe: Brighton Office, UKMultiple full-time, permanent roles Brighton Office, UK OTE 3546K, and more for those who exceed targetThe OpportunityWere adding to our sales team and were doing it across multiple portfolios at once. This isnt about backfilling; its about growth. Our events business is expanding, our portfolios are performing strongly, and we need commercially minded people to help us build on that momentum.Were hiring at both Account Executive and Senior Account Executive level across three distinct areas of our portfolio:Digital Construction Week (DCW) one of the UKs most exciting construction tech event portfolios, spanning a flagship London exhibition, a regional Manchester event, an awards ceremony and a year-round digital content hub. Over 10,000 attendees each year at the intersection of construction, technology and innovation.Food & hospitality two distinct events: The London Food & Drink Festival, a family of four leading trade shows making one of the capitals best-known food and drink events, and The Northern Restaurant & Bar Show (NRB), the leading trade event for the hospitality industry in the North of England. Together they offer a rich and varied client base of innovative producers, brands, and suppliers for restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes. coffee shops, food retailers and more.And unlike most sales roles, youll see the results of your work in person. When the doors open and the floor fills with thousands of industry professionals, its a feeling our sales team consistently say makes this job unlike anything else.About Diversified UK & EuropeWere a Brighton-based events company, part of the global Diversified Communications group, organising 20 in-person trade events and 4 industry awards across a range of sectors. With a team of around 100 people, were large enough to offer variety and structure, but small enough that individuals make a real difference and weve won Employer of the Year two years running (2025 and 2026) to prove it.What Youll Be DoingWhichever portfolio you join, the core of the role is the same. Day-to-day, youll be:Selling across multiple revenue lines exhibition stand space, sponsorship packages, digital advertising and awards the exact mix depending on which portfolio you joinProactively sourcing and qualifying new leads through calls, email, LinkedIn and networking building your own pipelineManaging and growing client relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the portfolioHitting (and aiming to exceed!) individual and team revenue targetsAttending events on-site, supporting clients and seeing the direct results of your workAt Senior level, youll be expected to drive more revenue, close bigger deals and take a lead role in growing the portfolio commercially. If youre an AE whos consistently hitting targets and ready for more, this is the step up youre looking for.What Were Looking ForWere not after a perfect CV were after the right person. Youll probably be:Someone with experience in a commercial, sales or client-facing role whether thats in events, exhibitions, media, publishing, marketing agencies, recruitment or another environment where youve had to persuade, negotiate or grow relationships.
