Job Description About the roleWe are looking for a Service Technician to support our clients based in the North of the UK.This is a Workshop and Field based role with travel to client sites across North England required.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a leading Valve and Actuator service provider. If you are experienced in electrical, instrumentation, electrohydraulic and electromechanical fields, then this could be a great opportunity to learn new skills within the Actuator service line. If you are a multiskilled maintenance, service or field service engineer/technician, and keen for a new service role. We want to hear from you! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team.Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructionsService repair and testing of all Electric Valve Actuator typesInstallation test and commission of Electric Valve Actuators to Valves in our workshopProvide training and overview of actuator service trainees and apprenticesAny other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the businessQualificationsMechanical, Electrical or any other Engineering qualification (preferred)Completed an engineering apprenticeship (preferred)CompEx EX01,2,3 & 4 preferred (preferred, not essential)IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred, not essential)ExperienceBasic electrical skills, fault finding, testing and commissioning of all actuator typesBe fully competent working alone on all valve and actuator typesDemonstrable workshop or technician experience within a valve actuator workshop environment preferredExperience working on Electrical Actuator Products.Behaviors and SkillsProfessional approach appropriate to the roleGood oral and written communication skills.Produces good quality work in a timely mannerTeam worker, supportive, adaptable, accepts challenge, pro-activeSound organisational skills and structured working methodsIntegrity, open, honest, enthusiastic and a good team playerAbout Us With facilities in over thirty locations spanning five continents, Score employs more than 2000 people, including 230 apprentices.
