HGV Compliance Engineer - HGV Mobile Mechanic

Job Description About this RoleAs an Asset Compliance Engineer within our Environmental Municipal Civil business, this role is ideally suited to an HGV Mechanic looking to use their skills in a varied, mobile engineering position. Working across customer sites and DGEMC workshops, you will keep our specialist hire fleet compliant, safe, and ready for operation.Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and specialist municipal vehiclesDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and braking faults with confidencePlan and complete PMI inspections in line with O Licence requirementsSupport hire contract activity including on hire and off hire processesAbout YouYou are an HGV Mechanic who enjoys autonomy, responsibility, and working directly with customers. You take pride in compliance, safety, and doing the job properly.Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar roleConfident working with engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and braking systemsAble to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and complianceStrong communication skills and a professional approach with customers and colleaguesFull UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel to customer sitesIf you are not sure you meet every requirement, please still apply.
