Our dedicated Transmissions Department is central to vehicle performance, and were looking for a Transmissions Technician to support the assembly, maintenance, and development of our competition gearboxes, differentials, and drivetrain systems.As a Transmissions Technician, youll be responsible for the build, inspection, and servicing of complex transmission systems across our range of rally cars. You will work closely with engineers and other technical departments to ensure all components meet the highest standards of reliability and performance both in the department and on events.The role responsibilities include:Assemble, service, and maintain gearboxes, differentials, and drivetrain components to tight tolerances.Carry out strip-downs, inspections and rebuilds with a meticulous eye for detail.Support the testing and logging of transmission components for reliability and wear analysis.Work to build schedules and ensure all transmission units are ready for car installations or event dispatch.Maintain accurate build records and report any faults or issues to Transmissions Supervisor and engineering teams.Provide transmission support at tests and events as required, including international travel.WHO WERE LOOKING FORWere looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:Educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.Understanding of engineering principles and able to follow detailed technical procedures.
