Branch Manager

We are looking for a Branch Manager to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile! The Role: This job is based out of our Dudley Branch DY5 1QA and leads and manages branch operations by overseeing staff, driving performance, and ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency Role Overview: Overseeing the smooth and cost-effective operation of the branch Managing daily despatch, stores, and delivery functions Ensuring effective utilisation of vehicles, route planning, and fleet optimisation Monitoring drivers hours and maintaining vehicle servicing Maintaining satisfactory stock levels and efficient despatch operations Managing all branch staff, including performance, wellbeing, and development Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in administration Promoting and monitoring Health & Safety standards across the site Driving continuous productivity and cost efficiency improvements Assessing and managing resource requirements Overseeing staff training and development where required Requirements: A natural leader with proven experience managing a team of 20+ staff Assertive, positive, and proactive in approach Capable of forward planning and multi-tasking under pressure Calm, logical, and solutions-focused What We Offer: Monday Friday, 8 hours per day between the hours or 7:30 and 18:00 Starting salary between 45,000 and 48,000 per annum 31 days annual leave including bank holidays Referral Programme To Apply: Please submit a written application and CV outlining: Why you believe you are suited to this role What attributes and experience you would bring to the position Applications to be submitted either by post to: C D Murphy MBE, Managing Director, Dunster House Ltd, Caxton Road, Elms Farm Industrial Estate, Bedford, MK41 0LF TPBN1_UKTJ
