Job Description CNC Turner?? Bridgwater?? Full Time 45 Hours per Week Monday to Friday | 7:00am 4:30pmMy client are a precision engineering company based in Bridgwater, delivering high-quality machined components across a range of industries. They are committed to accuracy, consistency and maintaining the highest machining standards.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our team. This role is primarily focused on CNC turning using Siemens-controlled machines, producing precision components to tight tolerances.This position would suit a machinist who takes pride in accuracy, works in a structured and methodical way, and values producing high-quality components right first time.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC turning machines with Siemens controlsProgram and edit programs at the machine (experience with Hypermill CAM software advantageous)Interpret detailed engineering drawingsSelect appropriate tooling and optimise cutting parametersProduce first-off components and carry out in-process inspectionMaintain tight tolerances and excellent surface finishesEnsure all work meets quality and procedural standardsMaintain a clean, organised and safe workstationSupport CNC milling operations where required (advantageous)Essential RequirementsProven experience in CNC turningExperience with Siemens control systemsStrong understanding of precision measurement and tolerancesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsMethodical and quality-focused approachAbility to work independently and manage workloadDesirableCNC milling experienceExperience using Hypermill CAM softwareApprenticeship or formal engineering qualificationExperience in low-to-medium batch precision workWhat We Offer Overtime available at enhanced rates. 45-hour full-time position (7:00am 4:30pm, Monday to Friday).
