Job Description Role: Commissioning ManagerLocation: Hinkley Point CSalary: 75,000 - 85,000 + Car AllowanceSummaryWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the planning, control, and execution of commissioning for electrical, control, and automation systems at Hinkley Point C. This is a site-based role in Somerset for a professional with nuclear or other highly regulated, safety-critical experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee FAT and SAT, installation, testing, and commissioning worksLead, mentor, and supervise commissioning engineers and site teamsDevelop, review, approve, and control commissioning strategies, test plans, and documentationControl drawings, mark-ups, and configuration changesEnsure correct deployment of SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, IEDs, BCUs, and networksManage isolations, LOTO, permits, and safety-critical processesLead fault investigation, non-conformance resolution, and root cause analysisPromote and demonstrate a strong nuclear safety cultureCandidate ProfileDegree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or similarProven commissioning experience in nuclear or safety-critical regulated environmentsExperience leading teams and site-based technical activitiesKnowledge of ONR requirements, commissioning lifecycle, hold-point control, and nuclear safety principlesStrong fault-finding skills on complex electrical/control systemsExperience with industrial networks, SCADA, and configuration verificationBS7671 18th Edition and C&G 2391 (desirable)Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to work site-basedWhat's on OfferWork on a nationally critical nuclear projectLong-term role in the UK nuclear sectorExposure to complex systems and regulated commissioning activitiesCompetitive salary and benefitsSupport for IEng / CEng chartershipFor more information please contact Mitchell Rogers on 07718 185869--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
