At Willis Engine Repair Centre, part of the Willis Lease Finance Corporation, we are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join us on a permanent basis.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment. This role offers a balance of strategic project work alongside hands-on operational HR support.You will act as the primary HR contact for the local site, working closely with on-site leadership, while also being part of the wider UK and Global HR function. This is a standalone role on site, requiring confidence, autonomy, and strong relationship-building skills, with the support and collaboration of a broader HR network.Key ResponsibilitiesProject / Strategic WorkLead and support HR projects. Drive improvements to HR processes, policies, and systems. Support the delivery of talent management, succession planning, and development initiatives. Contribute to employee engagement, culture, and organisational development initiatives.Partner with UK and Global HR teams on wider business initiatives and change programmes.Use HR data and insights to identify trends and support decision-making.Operational / Day-to-Day HRAct as the first point of contact for HR matters on site, supporting managers and employeesProvide pragmatic HR advice across the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, development, performance, and offboarding)Support managers with performance management, development planning, and team effectivenessEnsure consistent application of HR policies and procedures in line with a regulated environmentSupport training and competency processes, including maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance requirementsAssist with audit activity by ensuring HR documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-readyAssist with recruitment activity and workforce planning, particularly for specialist and technical rolesMaintain accurate HR data and support reporting requirementsAbout YouProven experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor roleComfortable operating in a standalone, on-site HR role while staying connected to a wider HR functionExperience delivering HR projects and supporting organisational changeExperience in a highly regulated environment is highly desirable (e.g. aviation, engineering, manufacturing, or other safety-critical industries)Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, particularly with operational and technical teamsHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and complianceAble to balance autonomy with collaboration across UK and Global teamsWell-organised with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesCIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferredWhy Join WERC?You will be joining the Willis Lease Finance Corporation (WLFC) group, youll work with a global team dedicated to supporting aviation operations worldwide.We offer a collaborative culture, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a real impact in international logistics.At Willis Engine Repair Centre (WERC), we are committed to fair hiring practices and building a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.
