Health & Safety AdvisorLocation: Brentwood, EssexAre you passionate about promoting safety standards and compliance in fast-paced operational environments? Do you have experience in utilities or construction and enjoy engaging with teams both on-site and in the office?We’re working with a well-established company seeking a proactive Health & Safety professional to join their compliance team. This role focuses primarily on Health & Safety, with some involvement in environmental and quality assurance activities. You’ll be the lead H&S contact on a major project, while also providing support across other contracts as needed.Typical Duties:Conducting regular site safety inspectionsMonthly audits of office and yard facilitiesDelivering staff inductions and refresher trainingFacilitating Emergency First Aid and Water Hygiene sessions (once qualified)Leading monthly Toolbox TalksManaging training records and compliance documentationAttending internal safety forums and meetingsSupporting incident investigations and reportingActing as cover for the Compliance Manager during absencesWhat’s on Offer:Company vehicle and fuel cardCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsOpportunity to work with a growing business known for its safety-first approachIdeal Candidate Profile:NEBOSH or equivalent Level 3+ Health & Safety qualificationFamiliarity with ISO standards (especially ISO 9001)Confident communicator with the ability to engage teams during trainingSelf-starter with strong attention to detailWillingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement
