Trainee Insolvency Cashier

Role overviewFRP Advisory is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Insolvency Cashier to join our restructuring cashiering team in Brentwood. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, ensuring the smooth operation of estate accounts. This role involves daily banking, processing payments and receipts, preparing bank reconciliations, and handling various ad hoc duties. The Trainee Insolvency Cashier will report to the Case Accountant Manager and work closely with other team members to maintain accurate financial records and support the department’s objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily banking tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactionsHandle the daily processing of payments and receipts, ensuring all transactions are recorded accuratelyPrepare bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are addressed promptlyProcess account openings, closings, and Non-Interest-Bearing requests as requiredMaintain regular payments records to ensure all transactions are tracked and documentedMonitoring the group email inboxPerform other administrative tasks to support the teamQualifications1 year of work experience preferablePasses in GCSE English and MathematicsOrganised and methodicalAbility to meet tight deadlinesStrong planning and prioritising skillsExcellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
