Job DescriptionFOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGERHISTORIC LONDON WATERSIDE PUBBrentford.The roleThis hands-on leadership role is for an outstanding Food and Beverage Manager to join our outstanding team. Were looking for someone to oversee the daily operations of The Weir, with the support of the GM, Managing Director and Finance & Operations Manager. The key to this role, is to ensure exceptionally high standards of service throughout the venue, including guest satisfaction, profitability and compliance with brand and legal requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead, develop and motivate the team to deliver top-tier service, maintaining our consistent 5 reviewsOversee the day to day running of all F&B areas to ensure smooth, efficient serviceEvaluate changes in guest needs, recommend appropriate product, service and operational changes as necessary.Maximise the profitability through effective stock, labour and margin managementIdentify and capitalise on sales opportunities across food, beverages and events.Collaborate with our GM, Head Chef & Head Bartender to ensure consistency and quality.Continue the lively and welcoming atmosphere we have createdIs this you?You will have a proven track record in a high-quality, busy venueYoure a planner, and you meet your deadlines every timeYou have strong knowledge of gastropub food, and winesYou are calm and confident under pressure with excellent communication skillsCustomer service is youre thing - You love engaging with guests and building relationshipsYou have commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and cost controlsYou work well both independently and as part of a large teamYou have a passionate and inspiring attitude towards customers, and staffWhats on Offer?Live-in can be discussed28 days holidayFree meals on shiftThe chance to work at an exciting, established venueDiscount on food when in the venue with family and friendsAbout usThe Weir Bar is an award-winning independent pub, bar and restaurant located in Brentford, West London - a 20 minute train from Waterloo, or 15 mins from the Elizabeth Line in Ealing.
