The service work in close partnership with individuals, families, and carers to ensure dignity, respect, and independence remain at the heart of everything we do. The Role We are looking for a reliable and caring D1 Driver to join our team at the Hammersmith. You will play an important role in helping people attend day opportunities and community activities safely and comfortably. Your duties will include: Driving a minibus to transport service users to and from the Centre and community venues. Supporting passengers on and off the vehicle, always ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Working closely with care staff and families to ensure smooth transport arrangements. Promoting independence, respect, and inclusion for all service users. About You You will need: A full clean UK driving licence with D1 category entitlement. Experience of driving minibuses or passenger transport vehicles safely and responsibly. A caring, patient, and respectful approach when supporting vulnerable adults. Good communication and teamwork skills. An understanding of equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities or additional needs is desirable but not essential All candidates require a DBS check and 5year checkable work history TPBN1_UKTJ
