Maintenance Gardener

Job Title: Commercial Maintenance Gardener Location: Fulham, London Salary: 30,000 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Maintenance Gardener to join our team, maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces across a commercial site and the surrounding areas. Youll be responsible for the ongoing care, presentation, and development of gardens, courtyards, and landscaped areas for commercial clients, ensuring all sites are kept to the highest horticultural standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out regular garden and grounds maintenance, including mowing, strimming, pruning, hedge cutting, weeding, planting, and mulching. Maintain lawns, flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees to ensure a tidy and professional appearance. Operate and maintain a range of horticultural machinery and tools safely. Monitor plant health, identify issues such as pests or diseases, and take appropriate corrective action. Support seasonal planting, turfing, and soft landscaping projects. Work independently or as part of a small team to complete maintenance schedules efficiently. Liaise with clients or site managers in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations. Requirements: Previous experience in commercial or high-end garden maintenance. Sound horticultural knowledge and a genuine passion for gardening. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Competent in the safe use of garden machinery and hand tools. Full UK driving licence (preferred). PA1/PA6 spraying certification (advantageous but not essential). Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively.
