We have a passionate and excited local following growing by the week. 35-Seater Restaurant 50/60 lunch covers and 100+ covers for dinner 2 mins from Acton Central Station Up to 30,000 per annum plus service charge 40 hours per week Open Wed through Sunday Staff meals on duty Requirements: As a Chef Commis you will play an integral role in supporting our culinary team and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. A passionate and professional chef that is well organised. A person who wants to collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality meals to our customers. Excited and passionate to learn and develop the skills to work independently in a fast paced kitchen. Previous experience working with British cuisine would be desirable. Prepare all mise-en-place and dishes with the kitchen team. Assisting with the plating and presentation of dishes. Ensure compliance with inhouse HACCP and food hygiene, health, and safety systems. Ensure all ingredients and supplies are properly stocked, labelled and stored. Completing responsibilities with a positive and motivated attitude of always striving to exceed standards. Experience and skills Commis experience in a similar style restaurant. A passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment. Ability to work as part of a team and take directions from senior chefs. Knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques a bonus. Disciplined and keen to learn. Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks. Excellent time management abilities.
