Job Description About The RoleIT Project Manager Braintree District Council Temporary, Part-Time 3 days per week 2-3 Months Contract Up To 350.00 Umbrella Per Day Dependant On Experience.Immediate Start Closing Date: Monday 15th December 2025Interviews: Thursday 23rd December 2025Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Braintree District Council in recruiting an IT Project Manager on a part-time, temporary basis.Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to be on-site 2 days per week.Key Accountabilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projectsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans and project documentation including highlight reports, exception reports and change controlsManage budgets, procurement processes, supplier and stakeholder relationshipsCoordinate cross-functional teams, including technical staff, stakeholders, and external partners, to ensure successful project outcomesOversee risk management, change control, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycleEnsure projects adhere to data protection, cybersecurity, and GDPR requirementsLocal government experienceWhat You Should Do NextIf you are interested in finding out more about this role, we would love to hear from you.
