CNC Turner

A1 Personnel are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join our client' engineering team on a permanent basis. Duties and Responsibilities: Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes (Fanuc controls with bar feed) Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Using various types of measuring equipment Machining parts to tight tolerances Handling both small and large batch work Supporting general workshop operations when needed Taking initiative with opportunities to help oversee shop floor operations in the future Requirements: Proven experience programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes Strong understanding of engineering drawings Confident in using precision measuring tools Ability to work to tight tolerances Experience in small and large batch production Positive, proactive attitude and a team player Desirable (Not Essential) Experience with Haas controls Familiarity with Mastercam and OneCNC software Willingness to take on leadership or supervisory responsibilities over time Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:00am 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch, paid tea breaks) Friday: 7:30am 4:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch, paid tea breaks) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Full-time, permanent position Workplace pension Free on-site parking Supportive and friendly team atmosphere Opportunities for future progression TPBN1_UKTJ
