Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter Location: Essex / Cambridge Salary: Up to 50,000 per annum Type: Full time, permanent Company Overview: We are delighted to be working with our client, a leading civil engineering firm specialising in residential and commercial groundworks as well as civil infrastructure projects. Role Overview: We are looking for a driven, dedicated, and professional individual to join our fast paced and growing plant department as a Mobile Plant Fitter. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy plant machinery up to 30T. This is a mobile site based role so you will be required to travel and visit various sites as required. Key Responsibilities: On-site maintenance of plant. On site servicing and preventative maintenance. Assistance with technical fault finding in both hydraulic and electrical faults. Passing on technical knowledge to other members of staff. Working closely with apprentices whilst carrying out repairs. Ensuring service reports are complete after completing required repairs. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Knowledge and understanding of construction plant. Experience working with excavators and associated contractors' plant (including LGV's). Having worked with Hitachi equipment would be beneficial. Understanding of site procedures and requirements. Self-motivated. Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Benefits: Competitive salary up to 50,000 per annum. Company van, tools and PPE provided.
