We have a reputation for craftmanship and attention to detail and we are looking for a skilled Carpenter/Bench joiner to join our team.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Job title Bench JoineryAs a Bench Joiner you will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of high-quality joinery items from Box sash windows, doors, reception desks. Our clients range for builders, pubs, Cathedrals to residential homes.Manufacturing and assemble bespoke joinery items from technical drawings and cutting lists, Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively. Working both with Hardwood, Softwoods and sheet materials.Ensuring all work is completed to company and client specifications ensuring high quality in the finished product. You will be working collaboratively with colleagues in the workshop and on occasion on site.It is also important that you maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.RequirementsProven experience as a bench joinery or carpenter in a workshop environmentExperience working with woodworking machinery.Knowledge of Joinery techniques and how to use woodworking machineryAbility to read work from drawings or cutting lists.Attention to detail and craftmanshipReliability and a team player.What we offer is a Full time Permanent Position16 to 20 per hour based on experience 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
