Job Title: SEN Class TeacherMake sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Location:Pilning, BristolSalary:31,650 - 47,338 (M1 UPS2)Hours: 40 hours per weekWe are currently seeking an SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Pilning, supporting young people aged 7 - 19 witha primary or secondary diagnosis of Autism and related social and communication needs.The School offer life skills and a wide range of GCSE/ Functional Skills/BTEC accreditations alongside a functional skills/entry level pathway. Behaviours across the school are excellent.We are particularly seeking a teacher with experience in digital skills and online safety, someone who can inspire and engage learners while helping them reach their full potential. In this role, you will deliver core subjects and take responsibility for digital skills and online safety across the school.The RoleWe are looking for an inspirational and engagingTeacher,to deliver high quality teaching and learning to children and young people with autism and complex needs.Your role will be to provide high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically but socially and emotionally. You must be creative and have high expectations. An understanding of ASC would is essential to support the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum to enable our pupils to achieve their full potential in all areas.To facilitate this, youll plan and deliver lessons that support young people achieving accreditation on a variety of academic pathways. You will be able to support the young people to be independent and resilient learners both in and outside of the classroom.Youll supervise and provide support and guidance to our Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants and play a key role in their Professional Development Reviews.Naturally, you will take responsibility for implementing school policies and practices, including those relating to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.
