Talent 4 Good are delighted to be supporting a leading private healthcare provider to recruit a Head of Clinical Governance & QualityThis is an excellent opportunity to join a Leeds based leading private healthcare provider who are a independent healthcare provider offering a wide range of medical, diagnostic, and specialist outpatient services to both NHS and private patients.Job Title: Head of Clinical Governance & QualityReports To: Managing DirectorLocation: Leeds - OnsiteSalary: £65,000 Reporting to the Managing Director, the position of Head of Clinical Governance & Quality is responsible for providing overall direction for quality, safety and patient experience efforts. The Head of Clinical Governance & Quality is responsible for supporting the Medical Director, Clinical Leadership, and other stakeholders in ensuring quality outcomes, patient safety and patient-centric care. This role is responsible for the oversight of the development and implementation of the integrated governance framework, quality, safety, and patient experience policies and operating procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees all quality, safety, and regulatory and risk management activities Oversees the implementation of the integrated governance framework in line with the regulatory body –CQC.Line Manager of Governance TeamEnsures a safe environment for patients, families and healthcare professionals that meets regulatory and accreditation standards. Develops and implements, in cooperation with Nursing and Clinical Operations, patient care policies, procedures, guidelines, and protocols and periodically updates them as needed. Ensures the highest quality of professional practice in all clinical and nursing divisions and departments ensures all safety, health and regulatory requirements are met in all areas of responsibilities.Develops and implements systems and protocols to effectively monitor clinical outcomes, safety events and patient experience measures. Leads improvement efforts to improve measures.Provides leadership with in-depth knowledge of national and international trends regarding quality, patient safety and experience.Responsible for maintaining compliance as governed by UK statutory and regulatory bodies including Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Information Commissioner Office (ICO), Public Health England and Health & Safety Executive (HSE)Develops and support organization-wide quality, safety, and patient experience strategies that improve the overall patient experience including clinical care, physical environment, as well as emotional needs of patients, families and employees.Oversees the operations of patient experience data reporting Other responsibilities as required according to the needs of the business, and a flexible approach to the role given the dynamic nature of the organisation as it continues to grow and developKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor’s Degree requiredExtensive experience in quality & governance leadership.Extensive line management experienceExperience of managing CQC inspectionsProven track record of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” following a CQC inspectionRegistered Healthcare Professional
