Construction Lawyer

Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm who are looking for a Construction Lawyer to join their thriving Construction and Engineering team in Leeds.Your responsibilities will include:Advising on a wide range of high-profile construction and engineering projects across sectors, including energy, infrastructure, transport, utilities, and residential.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts, including EPC, D&B, and consultancy agreements.Advising a broad client base including government bodies, developers, funders, contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants.Supporting major development and infrastructure projects, often as part of cross-office or cross-border teams.Providing strategic guidance on procurement routes and project structures.Collaborating with internal teams such as Real Estate, Projects and Banking on multidisciplinary transactions.The successful candidate:Ideally 3 years PQE in Construction LawExperienced in advising on construction contracts and procurement strategies, ideally with exposure to large-scale infrastructure or development projects.Commercially minded with strong technical and drafting skills.A clear and confident communicator with the ability to build client relationships and manage workstreams independently.In return, the firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, exposure to high-value national and international projects, and clear opportunities for structured career progression and professional development.Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
