Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) ManagerThis is a period of great change within Harron Homes. As a key member of the Group EHS team, the EHS Manager will be instrumental in driving health and safety improvements across our 22 live construction sites and the broader business.The EHS Manager will assist the Group EHS Director in the development of the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and support the roll out of these through delivery of high-quality training. They will be the first point of call for all enquiries to the EHS team and will allocate resources from within the team to best support the business.The role will require regular travel to site to provide specific support in respect of high-risk activities and to provide oversight, support, and guidance to the EHS Advisors on their routine inspections. Time will also be spent supporting our design and commercial functions and attending key stage meetings in relation to our pre-development sitesAs a key member of the Group EHS team, you’ll:Lead and develop our talented advisory team through coaching, CPD, and site supportDeputise for the Group EHS Director, influencing senior leaders and shaping strategyDrive improvements by developing and rolling out key policies and high-quality trainingConduct accident investigations and ensure learnings are shared across the businessProvide hands-on support during high-risk activities and oversee routine auditsPlay a vital role in design and pre-development stages, ensuring safety is built in from the startWe’re looking for someone with:A NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ6 OSH (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and experience in construction or housebuildingProven experience managing or mentoring EHS professionalsThe confidence, integrity, and presence to influence at all levelsAt Harron Homes, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team where your expertise is recognised, your career development encouraged, and your contribution makes a visible difference.If you’re motivated by continuous improvement and want to take the next step in your EHS career, we’d love to hear from you.
