Midweight Designer (UK-Based,Remote)Salary: £35,000–£38,00Location: UK (hybrid – remote with access to coworking spaces in Covent Garden and Woking)Start Date: As soon as possibleRole Context & OverviewFollowing significant global growth, the organisation has recently restructured its design function. The brand has expanded, acquiring an additional label and inheriting a small Chicago-based design presence. With rapid growth across UK, US, and European markets, the business now requires a UK-based Midweight Designer to support day-to-day creative rollout and ensure timely delivery of market-specific assets.This is a hands-on executional design role. High-level creative direction originates from Australia; this position is responsible for adapting and rolling out assets across multiple regions. Work spans digital marketing, email, social, and retail print, with an emphasis on accuracy, localisation, and brand consistency. Video editing is not required, as this remains with the Australian team.The role is ideal for a proactive, self-starting designer with a premium fashion, retail, or lifestyle background, confident in taking ownership of briefs and working independently while collaborating across time zones.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Rollout & AdaptationTranslate globally defined creative concepts into finalised assets for UK, US, and EU markets.Adapt campaigns for local languages and territories including France, Germany, Poland, and Italy.Print & In-Store DesignProduce and adapt in-store collateral such as window displays, POS, and event materials.Ensure all print files meet technical specifications and are delivered accurately and on schedule.Digital Marketing AssetsCreate digital assets for email, website, paid advertising, and social channels.Support e-commerce with banners, product imagery, landing page graphics, and promotional content.Process & WorkflowManage multiple briefs simultaneously within project-management platforms (e.g., Trello).Respond quickly to real-time changes, especially corrections or urgent updates.Maintain consistent quality while working autonomously across different time zones.Person SpecificationEssential Skills & Experience3+ years’ design experience within fashion, retail, lifestyle, or a similarly brand-led environment.Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Proven ability to interpret and uphold brand guidelines across multiple markets.Experience producing print-ready and digital production-ready artwork.Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.Working Style & AttributesA self-starter who can independently drive projects to completion.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with localisation and typography.Comfortable working remotely while collaborating with teams in London, Chicago, and Sydney.Open to occasional early-evening check-ins for Sydney alignment (approx. 1–2 times per week).Strong communicator who is confident picking up the phone to resolve last-minute changes.Probation period: 6 monthsBonus: Annual performance-linked bonus potential.
