We’re looking for a Production Support Specialist / Production Compliance Assistant to help keep our chemical manufacturing processes running safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and safety teams—supporting daily operations, resolving technical issues, and ensuring all activities meet our high safety and performance expectations. If you’re detail-driven, proactive, and thrive in a team environment, this could be a great next step.What You’ll DoLead all planned maintenance and project activity in the HUB, including pre-task meetings, permit writing, and acting as the production representative.Provide day-to-day operational support to apprentices working in the HUB.Ensure full compliance with safety protocols, including Management of Change.Support production teams to maintain schedules and minimise downtime.Manage and monitor Zaptic systems.Conduct routine 5S checks, plant inspections, and report hazards.Maintain accurate procedures, risk assessments, training records, and manual-handling assessments.Work with maintenance, quality, and safety teams to resolve operational issues and progress work orders.Participate in safety drills, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.Carry out other reasonable duties to support production.What We’re Looking ForExperience in chemical manufacturing or industrial production.Knowledge of chemical handling and safety documentation.Strong troubleshooting ability and operational problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.Key SkillsUnderstanding of chemical production processesStrong safety and compliance awarenessEffective communication and teamworkAdaptability and problem-solvingAccurate documentation and record-keepingWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary, Annual bonus scheme and Enhanced company pension schemePrivate healthcare care and Life assurance and Employee AssistanceMulti-faith roomOngoing training, development and supportOnsite parking (some bays with EV Charging Points)Join UsAt Solenis, we're proud of our purpose-driven culture and our commitment to innovation and sustainability.
