We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Manager to shape and execute the Technical function with a central oversight across all Produce manufacturing sites. Serving Morrisons and a growing number of external customers, the successful individual will have a proven track record in leading the technical function for diverse produce operations. This pivotal role involves driving food quality and improved customer satisfaction whilst also ensuring robust Food Safety, legality, and integrity across all of our produce manufacturing sites, covering high risk and low risk areas. Location: Centre - Bradford, West Yorkshire - with ability to travel to all produce sites Hours: 37.5 Hours per week - Usually Mon-Fri Contract: 12 Month FTC Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the overarching Technical strategy for the Produce division, ensuring consistency and excellence across all sites. Work closely with Site Technical Managers to provide strategic direction, expertise, and resource alignment, ensuring alignment with commercial, operational, and broader business goals. Drive change programmes for quality delivery and lead technical integration for new business projects across the portfolio of sites. Ensure safe, legal, high quality products across the entire Produce network. Develop and manage the central technical auditing, due diligence, and risk assessment programs for all produce sites. About you We're looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality and food safety controls, and legislation. You will also ideally have a strong understanding of fresh produce, specifically Fruit and Vegetables. You will also have: Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and influencing technical functions across multiple sites or a large scale network. Ability to drive performance improvement and manage change at pace across diverse operational teams. Excellent communication, engagement, and motivational skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and Site Technical teams.
