Job DescriptionWe have an immediate temporary opportunity for a Quality Associate based in Bradford, working with a well-established and fast-paced medical device company. This role is for an initial minimum period of 6 weeks, with the potential to extend or go permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for someone with ideally ISO 13485. If you do not have experience specifically linked to medical devices then experience of a similar nature in the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry would be considered.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong product quality control experience ideally within the medical device industry, who is confident working independently and can hit the ground running. The successful candidate will take ownership of key quality processes including complaints handling, internal audits, and document control.Job Profile:You need to have a strong eye for detail, confidence managing regulated quality systems, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure. You'll need to work well both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach and good communication across departments.Responsibilities:Managing product complaints: investigation, documentation, follow-up and risk managementCarrying out internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and company proceduresOverseeing document control keeping quality records accurate and up to dateSupporting and closing out CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions)Reviewing and managing batch manufacturing recordsUsing Excel to track and report on quality metrics advanced Excel skills requiredEnsuring records are maintained with a high degree of accuracy and professionalismRequirements:Prior experience in product quality control is essential ideally within the medical device or pharmaceutical industryStrong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO 13485)Confident, self-motivated and able to work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised, with strong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft ExcelExperience in CAPA, internal audits, document control and batch record reviewA methodical and professional approach to quality managementHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm with 30-minute break (there is some flexibility around hours and timings for the right candidate)Salary: 14.42 16.83 per hour (temp rate dependent on experience and will be 30 to 32k whilst temping with a view to increase if it becomes permanent)Location: BD3 must be able to commute reliably (hybrid working may be considered for the correct candidate)Job Type: Temporary minimum 6 weeks, potential to extend or become permanentINDTEMPDue to the amount of response we receive, unfortunately we are not able to give feedback to individuals, if you have not heard back within 5 days please assume that you have not been successful for the role you have applied for.
