Analytical Technicians – ELISA & Diagnostic TestingBerkshire | £27,000–£32,000 | Permanent, Full-timeAre you a hands-on lab professional looking to develop your career in diagnostic science? Whether you’re just starting out or bringing experience in analytical techniques like ELISA, SDS-PAGE, or conjugation, we’re hiring Analytical Technicians at various levels to join a growing life sciences team in Berkshire.This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and manufacturing of ELISA-based diagnostic kits in a supportive and purpose-driven environment. You’ll gain valuable experience in raw material evaluation, in-process testing, and technical troubleshooting—while working to GMP/GLP standards.What You’ll Be DoingDepending on your experience, responsibilities may include:Running analytical tests such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and conjugationEvaluating raw materials including antigens, antibodies, and seraSupporting in-process testing of plates, buffers, and controlsDispensing and labelling kit components for diagnostic productsTroubleshooting technical issues and supporting process improvementsTraining and mentoring junior staff (for more senior roles)Maintaining lab equipment, electronic records, and quality documentationEnsuring lab procedures meet GMP/GLP and health 'safety standardsWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in a lab-based setting (academic or industrial)Familiarity with ELISA is essential; experience with SDS-PAGE or conjugation is desirableDegree in a life sciences subject is beneficial, but not essential with relevant experienceComfortable handling data, interpreting results, and using ExcelStrong attention to detail, time management, and communication skillsA proactive, adaptable approach—whether working independently or as part of a teamSupervisory or mentoring experience is a plus for more senior positionsSalary, Location & BenefitsLocation: Berkshire (on-site laboratory role)Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 depending on experienceContract: Permanent, full-timeInterested?Whether you’re early in your lab career or ready to step into a more senior, supervisory role, we’d love to hear from you.
