Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer

Job Description The position involves maintenance, fault finding, and repair of cooling and temperature control systems across a portfolio of critical and high-profile sites. These include large data centres, nationally important infrastructure, corporate headquarters, and occasional retail environments.The role offers exposure to a wide range of plant and manufacturers, with particular focus on water chillers and associated systems.Service, maintenance, and reactive repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systemsWorking on chillers, CRAC units, AHUs, and associated pump systemsDiagnosing electrical, mechanical, and control faultsSupporting customers across all temperature control and conditioned air systemsProducing detailed service reportsParticipating in a 1-in-6 on-call rotaOccasional installation and project workMaintaining a professional approach in critical business environmentsRequirementsTime-served apprenticeship in Refrigeration & Air ConditioningNVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration (highly desirable)C&G 2079 (F-Gas) certificationExperience working with chillers and related systemsHydrocarbon refrigerant experience (desirable)Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to work independentlyProfessional and customer-focused approachClear written and verbal communication skillsFull UK Driving LicenceJBRP1_UKTJ
