This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a multi-entity environment and is looking for a high-impact role within a large, complex organisation.The RoleBased at the companys office in Bracknell (with hybrid working), this position will see you leading a small team and overseeing the financial reporting for ten central legal entities across the UK and mainland Europe. Its an ideal role for someone who thrives on technical accounting, compliance, and process improvement in a fast-paced setting.Key Responsibilities:Own the monthly financial close process, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirementsLead and develop a team of three finance professionalsOversee the preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP (FRS 102) and manage external auditsDrive process improvements to improve efficiency and controlCollaborate with finance teams across the UK, mainland Europe, and the US to support reporting and business decision-makingWhat My Client is Looking For:Qualified accountantStrong background in financial reporting and controllership or experience gained within an Audit firmProven team leadership experienceDetail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
