Our goal is to become the staffing and services company others aspire to be.Role OutlineThe Accounts Assistant will support the AGI Staffing EMEA finance team, taking ownership of key accounting processes with a strong focus on bank reconciliations, controls, and audit support. This role is well suited to an ambitious individual looking to build a career in accounting within a highperforming corporate finance environment.Core ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain weekly bank reconciliations across AGI Staffing EMEA entities, covering multiple currencies and bank accountsInvestigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner, working closely with relevant internal teamsProvide detailed analysis of unreconciled items at period closeWork with the Senior Accountant to review and improve reconciliation processes and controlsBuild effective working relationships across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Treasury, and AuditSupport the accounting team with journal postings, intercompany reconciliations, recharges, audit requests, and adhoc tasksAct as the primary point of contact for bank reconciliation queries during auditsSkills and Knowledge Strong Excel skills, with Power Query experience preferredHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiencyStrong organisational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to meet deadlinesConfident working with data and learning new systems and applicationsProactive problemsolver with a continuous improvement mindsetStudying towards, or planning to study, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)Behaviours & AttributesHighly organised, accountable, and solutionfocusedComfortable working in a fastpaced, changing environmentConfident communicating with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethicAble to work independently while contributing effectively to a teamMotivated to learn, develop, and progress within finance
