Electrician / Electrical Engineer Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: RAF Croughton & RAF Barford St Johns Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with on-call rota, 1 in 4 weeks maximum) Salary: Up to 41,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) Are you a skilled Electrician or Electrical Engineer ready to take your career to the next level? Youll support essential services across two key RAF sites, working on a wide range of commercial, technical, and accommodation facilities. The Role You will be responsible for: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Responding to reactive faults and emergency callouts Completing compliance testing in accordance with JSP375 standards Delivering minor electrical installation works Using a digital tablet to log detailed maintenance reports and ensure accurate record-keeping Participating in a 1-in-4 on-call rota Travelling between sites using a company-provided vehicle What Youll Need City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 2391 Testing & Inspection certification Solid experience in electrical maintenance and repair in commercial settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Up-to-date health and safety knowledge , backed by a recognised qualification Desirable Qualifications & Experience Experience as an Authorised Person (AP) or Authorising Engineer (AE) Familiarity with fixed wire testing IPAF and PASMA certifications This is more than just a job its an opportunity to grow with a forward-thinking organisation supporting mission-critical operations.
