From fabric discovery to category scaling, your decisions will shape the product direction and bottom line of the brand.You must be fluent in both streetwear and smart/casual styles, with a strong commercial instinct and a deep knowledge of fabric innovation, market trends, and what men actually want to wear next.You’ll work cross-functionally with design, merchandising, and marketing (remotely) to execute with precision and speed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the menswear buying function with full commercial and strategic ownershipIdentify and source innovative, high-performance fabrics that elevate our product quality and point of differenceStay ahead of trends and category shifts in both smart/casual and streetwear segmentsBuild data-informed, margin-conscious range plans with a focus on bestsellers and new hero productsCollaborate with design to align seasonal direction, silhouette, and fitManage supplier relationships globally and negotiate best-in-class commercial termsMonitor weekly sell-through, margins, and category performance to make fast, impactful decisionsOwn seasonal and in-season budgets and ensure profit targets are hitMaintain speed-to-market through tight critical path managementLead and develop a growing team of buyers and assistants to deliver with excellenceRequirements5+ years experience in a senior menswear buying role, preferably within a fast-paced eCommerce or DTC brandDeep understanding of both tailored smart/casualwear and modern streetwearObsessed with trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging fabric technologiesStrong commercial instinct with a proven record of scaling product categories profitablyExperienced in working remotely and independently while collaborating across teamsHighly analytical and comfortable making data-led decisionsA confident leader who holds a high standard and thrives in a high-performance cultureWhat We OfferFully remote role (UK-based preferred for ease of collaboration)Competitive salary & performance-based bonusProduct gifting 'staff discountsA chance to shape the future of one of the most ambitious menswear brands in the UKHigh-autonomy, high-responsibility role in a culture that rewards resultsThis is a role for a buyer who wants more than just a seat at the table. It’s for someone ready to lead the product vision of a brand on track to redefine menswear.Apply now, and in your application, please give us a brief answer to the following questions:Which menswear product have you successfully scaled in the past, and what was your process from identifying the opportunity to executing it?How would you build a product strategy that serves both our Smart/Casual and Streetwear customers without diluting brand identity?What do you believe separates a “good” product from a category-defining product, and how would you ensure Legend only launches the latter?
