Role SummaryResponsible for managing end-to-end book production projects for academic publishers by coordinating with authors, editors and freelancers. Ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and seamless execution of academic content production across print and digital formats.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete lifecycle of academic book production — from manuscript receipt to final delivery.Plan schedules, allocate freelance resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.Coordinate with editorial, production, and quality teams to maintain accuracy and consistency.Conduct quality checks on deliverables to ensure adherence to client and academic standards.Manage relationships with freelancers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet project requirements.Communicate regularly with clients and authors to provide updates, address queries, and ensure satisfaction.Qualifications and Experience7+ Years of experience in managing academic book production.Strong understanding of academic workflows and production processes.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications and using Adobe mark-up tools.
